1950 to Now
at MoMA

Exhibition title wall.

On February 26, MoMA hosted a dinner to celebrate the opening of Color Chart: Reinventing Color, 1950 to Today, the first major exhibition to explore the broad impact of standardized, mass-produced color on contemporary art. Taking the commercial color chart as its central metaphor, the exhibition features work by 44 artists ranging from Ellsworth Kelly and Gerhard Richter to Sherrie Levine and Damien Hirst.  The exhibition is organized by Ann Temkin, The Blanchette Hooker Rockefeller Curator of Painting and Sculpture, The Museum of Modern Art, and is on view from March 2, 2008, through May 12, 2008, in The Joan and Preston Robert Tisch Gallery, sixth floor, and other locations in the Museum.
