The
Hampton Designer Showhouse opened with a Gala Preview Party on Saturday,
July 25, 2009. 500 guests celebrated the opening of the showhouse, which
runs through September 6, 2009. Traditional Home is the 2009 Presenting
Sponsor. All proceeds from both the evening and the run of the showhouse
will benefit Southampton Hospital, Southampton, NY.
Mrs. Mildred Brinn
is the Honorary co-chair of the Showhouse. Mr. Mario Buatta is Honorary
Gala chair. Mr. Jamie Drake is Honorary Design chair. Showhouse Management
is provided by Mr. Tony Manning and Showhouse Operations are provided
by Ms. Mary Lynch.
The Hampton Designer Showhouse, now in its ninth year,
is a showcase for America's premiere design talent. Approximately
25 top interior designers and decorative artists have turned a lavish
shingle style home, built by Farrell Building Co, into a decorating masterpiece.
This year's Showhouse is located at 179 Davids Lane in Water Mill,
NY, one of the most picturesque hamlets of Southampton. The Hampton Designer
Showhouse runs through Sunday, September 6, 2009.
