On
Tuesday, June 30, 2009, Stephanie and Ric Barbatelli of E. Braun & Co.
hosted a kickoff party for the 2009 Hampton Designer Showhouse at their
new location at 484 Park Avenue in New York City. The beautiful
new space was designed by Susan Orsini of Orsini Design Associates. This
year's Showhouse is presented by Traditional Home magazine and
will benefit Southampton Hospital and will open Sunday, July 26th in
Water Mill, New York.
The Hampton Designer Showhouse, now in its ninth year, is a showcase
for America's premiere design talent. Approximately 20
top interior designers and decorative artists will turn a lavish shingle
style home, built by Farrell Building Co, into a decorating masterpiece. This
year's Showhouse is located in Water Mill, NY, one of the most
picturesque hamlets of Southampton.
Among the guests who attended were 2009 participants Denise Rinfret,
Greg Lanza, Chris Meyers, Jeff Lincoln, Kate Singer, Ken Alpert, Andrew
Petronio, Elizabeth Bailey, Benjamin Bradley, Abby Modell, David Thiergartner,
Victoria Stuart Burke, Jesse Carrier, Mara Miller, Brad Ford, Ellen
Hamilton, Brendan Kwinter-Schwartz, Brian Brady, Marjorie Sobiloff,
and Cathy Yohay. Other guests included Mario Buatta, Sherrill
Canet, Carolyn Sollis, Carole Gratale, Barclay Butera, Ken Wampler,
Janice Langrall, Jean Chau, Noel Jeffrey, and Traditional Home's
Jenny Bradley, Sabine Rothman, Tina Ancheta, and Cathy Christino.
The Hampton Designer Showhouse opens with a gala preview party on
Saturday, July 25 and runs through Sunday, September 6, 2009.
