On
Thursday, October 8, 2009, Maggie Norris and Jay McInerney hosted a celebration
in anticipation of the 2009 Hope For Depression Seminar and Luncheon
at The Gates in New York City. Hope for Depression Research Foundation
(HDRF), funds cutting-edge, international scientific research into the
origins, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of depression and its related
mood and other emotional disorders.
Guests included HDRF Founder and
Chairman, Audrey Gruss, co-chairs Anne Eisenhower, Jackie Drake, Lis
Waterman and Coralie Charriol Paul, Arts Committee co-chairs Jim Aman

The
mission of the Hope for Depression Research Foundation (HDRF) is to fund
innovative, international scientific research into the origins, diagnosis,
treatment and prevention of depression and its related mood and other
emotional disorders – major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder,
dysthymia and complicated grief, postpartum depression, post-traumatic
stress syndrome, panic disorder, social phobia, generalized anxiety disorder
and suicide – with the ultimate goal of finding a cure.
