The
Young Fellows Ball, hosted by The Frick Collection was held on Thursday,
February 26, 2009 in support of the museum's education program.
This year's theme was Les Liaisons Dangereuses, inspired
by the recently reopened and relit Fragonard Room. The Frick
mansion's gallery by that name features a remarkable series of
paintings by this 18th -century French artist (considered to be his
masterpiece) which were commissioned by the controversial mistress
of Louis XV, Madame du Barry. This highly anticipated party was
generously sponsored by Monique Lhuillier, Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry,
and Roger Vivier. Honorary chairman Monique Lhuillier
and honorary vice chairman Ivanka Trump were joined by chairmen Allison
Aston, Byrdie Bell, Lydia Fenet, Joann Pailey, and Elisabeth Saint-Amand.
