On
Friday, September 12, 2008, "The Boathouse Gala" was held
for the benefit of CANCER101 and New Yorkers
for Charity at The Loeb Boathouse, in New York's Central
Park. John Nicholas was event chairman. Special
Guests included Miss U.S.A 2008 Crystle Stewart and
Miss Teen U.S.A. 2008 Stevi Perry.
CANCER101 is a New York City-based nonprofit organization whose
mission is to empower people with breast cancer. This year a portion
of the proceeds will go to New Yorkers for Charity, a newly formed
nonprofit organization who provides support to local, New York City
charities in need.
