The
Women's Association and The Governing Members of the Chicago
Symphony Orchestra (CSO) held its 4th Bi-Annual Auction and Party on
Saturday, June 27, 2009 at a very special home in Chicago's Lincoln
Park.
This party has become a tradition for the Orchestra and the proceeds
benefit the Symphony and its many musical, outreach and educational
programs. The party included cocktails, a summer supper, music by Guitarra
Azul with flamenco dancers, valet parking and, of course, the Auction.
Chairing the Auction Party were Marian Simon and Robert Turner of Chicago. Guests
attending included Deborah Rutter, president of the CSO, Pam Sheffield,
Elizabeth Stein, Jenny Ames, Louis Sudler, Mitzi and Cyrus Freidheim, Donald
and Carol Asher, Clarine Hall, Sue and Myron Rubnitz, Anne and Willard
Fraumann, Courtney McDermott, Patrick and Sandy Martin, and Teri and
Stanton Lewin.
