Brooklyn
Academy of Music (BAM)
held its 2008 Next Wave Gala, honoring the Harkness Center
for Dance and its trustees Theodore S. Bartwink, Etta Brandman,
and William A. Perlmuth on Wednesday, November 12. The evening
feature a performance of Amjad by the Montreal-based
La La La Human Steps at BAM followed by a post-show dinner at Skylight
in Manhattan.
Altria Group was the sponsor of the BAM 2008 Next
Wave Festival and Gala. Gary G. Lynch and Nora
Ann Wallace & Jack Nusbaum were
the Next Wave Gala chairs.
