More
than 350 of the worlds top art collectors, wine connoisseurs, artists,
gallery owners, curators, celebrities, and global business leaders came
together in Aspen for three days of striking events to celebrate artCRUSH,
the Aspen Art Museum's 5th annual gala series. The artCRUSH summer
benefit and related events, wineCRUSH, previewCRUSH, and afterpartyCRUSH,
were held August 5-7, 2009.
On August 6, 2009, wineCRUSH was hosted by John and Amy Phelan in their
modernist home featuring their cutting-edge art collection. This remarkable
evening featured wine and food presented by master sommeliers guiding
guests through rare vintages.
Each year artCRUSH draws major arts patrons, gallerists,
and artists from across the country and internationally. Guests included:
